The Head of Supply Planning is accountable to ensure optimal supply and distribution plans for Romania in order to meet agreed business service level targets and supply costs and to drive and lead strategic projects improving our operational and service delivery.
Reporting lines:
– Direct reporting to Supply Chain Vice President Romania
– Functional reporting to Supply and Demand Planning Manager Europe
Main responsibilities:
1. Supply planning:
– Optimized long term supply plans for production planning, distribution planning, raw materials and containers supply are issued and deliver minimum total cost of supply;
– Long term supply projections are aligned with stakeholders in order to gain consensus and ensure achievement;
– Opportunities for flexing supply between breweries to optimize available resources and maximize customer service are identified and implemented;
– Monitors and optimizes the full total beer stocks in order to secure delivery of working capital targets;
– Containers end-to-end process is managed in order to ensure efficient use of resources. Supervises processes between Supply, Customer Service, Distribution and Warehousing;
– Feasible what-if scenarios for capacity expansion are analyzed and implementation is ensured, when needed;
2. Sales & operations planning
– Owns/defines the agenda for Exec S&OP Meeting, based on DRM-SRM-Pre-S&OP outcomes;
– Ensures the communication and cascading of S&OP output, at country and regional level. Ensures alignment between all stakeholders with regards to key integration topics;
– Constraints in delivering short and long term business objectives are identified and communicated to stakeholders, together with proposals to overcome them;
– Ensures visibility on relevant end-to-end supply costs, inventory and service level implications;
– Ensures possible imbalances/flex needs have identified supply scenarios for pre-S&OP analysis/costing.
3. Supply chain strategic projects
– Identifies opportunities for supply chain optimization and drives in-country implementation by alignment with main stakeholders
– Leads the project team in terms of project delivery. Provides guidance and makes decisions about project developments
– Acts with a whole business mind-set in order to ensure optimum business results are achieved
Requirements:
Education:
– University degree – preferably food production technology or technical.
Experience
– Min 5 years planning and scheduling experience, for production, raw materials and distribution;
– English –advanced level;
– Intermediate to Advanced skills in SAP, MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook , other planning and scheduling software.
Functional competencies:
– Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes;
– Good understanding of end to end business strategy;
– Good understanding of Financial budgeting and results analysis;
– Ability to plan, organize and control processes and programs;
– Experience managing a wide scope of projects.
