Our brewery from Buzău started operating in 1978. Over time, the company has made considerable investments for the expansion, development and modernization of the brewery. Thus, it is one of the largest breweries in Romania. Recently, our facility has celebrated 40 years of existence.
The ISO certifications obtained by the berwery in the past years show the importance placed by the production facility in Buzău on ensuring the safety of its employees, offering high-quality products, as well as protecting the environment.
In the Buzău brewery we are keeping up with the trends of our consumers and we have invested in modern technologies for the manufacturing and bottling of special beers, such as beers with various flavors or non-alcoholic beers. Thus, the brewery became one of the most complex in the URSUS Breweries portfolio.
Currently, the brewery has 312 employees and a capacity of 3.1 million hectoliters per year.
We also invest in the development of the younger generations, offering scholarships to students from the community in Buzău. Students also have the opportunity to apply in our Graduate Trainee program.
