{"id":1978,"date":"2006-01-26T06:04:16","date_gmt":"2006-01-26T06:04:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ub.kubisdev.ro\/?post_type=proiecte&#038;p=1978"},"modified":"2020-04-27T06:05:24","modified_gmt":"2020-04-27T06:05:24","slug":"millions-of-people-millions-of-trees","status":"publish","type":"proiecte","link":"https:\/\/ursus-breweries.ro\/en\/media\/proiecte\/millions-of-people-millions-of-trees\/","title":{"rendered":"Millions of People, Millions of trees"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In the autumn of 2006, we launched, together with PRAIS Foundation and in partnership with the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development, the &#8220;Millions of people, millions of trees&#8221;  social responsibility programme. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This programme was a national volunteering movement with the main objective of informing people regarding the importance of protecting the environment and attracting volunteers in plantation activities, meant to rebuild the green spaces in towns or areas affected by massive deforestation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Almost 3 years after the launch, in the spring of 2009, the movement registered a record number of countrywide plantations: over 38.000.000 trees and over 12.000.000 plants and shrubs.
